Don Bosco College, Chapaguri (Bongaigaon) is an educational institution of the Catholic Church, belonging to the world-wide Don Bosco Educational Society and managed by the Salesians of Don Bosco, popularly known as Don Bosco fathers and brothers. The College is constructed, managed and supported with help from our headquarters in Guwahati, Assam.

Don Bosco Society is present in over 130 countries of the world, including India and its neighbourhood – Bangladesh, China, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. In India, the society runs over 30 colleges, including Don Bosco College, Chapaguri (Bongaigaon), Don Bosco Junior College – Chapaguri (Bongaigaon), Don Bosco Junior College – Diphu, Don Bosco College & College of Teacher Education – Tura, St. Anthony’s College – Shillong, St. Anthony’s College (Extension)- Byndihati, Don Bosco Institute of Management – Guwahati, Don Bosco College of Engineering and Technology – Guwahati and Assam Don Bosco University – at Tapesia, Guwahati. Besides these it runs numerous schools, Technical Schools and Vocational Training Centres. Don Bosco institutions are also engaged in care for street children of urban areas. We have a dedicated centre known as ‘Snehalaya’ in Guwahati to care for the poor and neglected children.
